Start With Stock Campaign

Adobe and Adobe Stock tasked me to create a series of animations using Adobe Stock assets. Each month Adobe gave me a new theme to spark my inspiration and build off of to help promote Adobe Stock and their new tools and features.

January: Self Portrait

I am pumped to announce that I am sponsored by Adobe! My journey into computer art all began using Adobe products years ago and I still use them in everything I create now. For this animation I jumped in and gathered images from Adobe Stock to help light my scene and texture images for compositing touches in After Effects.

February: Artist Inspiration

Created using Cinema 4D, Adobe Stock and Octane Render. My initial inspiration to make this room was sparked by the amazing mood captured in Fran Mart 's photos.

March: Women's Perspective

The process of creating 3D work does not need to end with just what you can make in the 3D software. Utilize compositing techniques to take your 3D to the next level. I jumped into After Effects and used Adobe Stock assets to bring this up a notch.

April: Artist Inspiration

With the flood of amazing art on social media it can be a challenge to create original art. A technique I use in attempt to create original work is to look at movements and objects in nature and give them a twist.

May: Diversity

"Leap Forward" I love tools that help my production speed move quicker. For this animation inspired by diversity, I wanted to create a lot of different textures for my Frog Creature. This can be a time consuming task to create each pattern just to test and see if it works on the character or not.

June: Artist Inspiration

A lot of CG work can look a little flat due to the lack of real camera effects that would be captured in the real world. To give this animation a little bit more life I knew I needed to jump in to Adobe Stock to look for real camera effects.

July: Personal History

A personal history piece with hidden elements throughout about me. You know someone is from Philly because they will most likely tell you that before you even know their name. No matter what state or country I am in Philly is always a part of who I am.

August: Artist Inspiration

A way to save time and improve render speed when creating 3D landscapes is to create the elements near the camera in 3D and the background elements using an image. In this piece inspired by the Adobe Stock Contributor Andrew Ling I did just that.

Adobe Take Over: Tutorial

Designing a 3D creature to feel incorporated into a video has its challenges. In this animation it was particularly challenging because it was a time lapse of a city scene in downtown LA. The time lapse made capturing the lighting of passing cars hard to replicate on a 3D object.

Hey, I'm going to be late tonight cause ummm..... yeah.

November: Retrospective

"Retrospective" As my year wraps up with my current Adobe Stock partnership, I wanted to create a piece that reflected formation and growth of ideas. Be passionate, stay curious and never stop creating.
